As boaters ourselves, we designed the wet dock around what a boat actually needs. It takes a 60 foot narrowboat with ease and gives a low-condensation, low-dust, draught-free environment for painting.
The friendly and experienced SBC volunteers will be on hand to welcome you and get you settled in.
What the dock gives you

- Easy to use roller shutter doors at both ends
For paint removal we have a vacuum random orbital sander available to hire at £10 per day, with sanding sheets stocked at a competitive price. You are very welcome to bring your own equipment. Paint spraying is not permitted, but airbrushes may be used.

While you are here
You will have use of a shower room, toilets and the laundry room during your stay, along with secure parking. You are also very welcome in the clubhouse of an evening during opening hours.
Peter and I would like to thank all the members of the club for the friendly welcome and all the helpful advice we received during our stay, both in the wet dock and out on the slipway. We not only take away a very smart boat with lovely new graphics, but lots of happy memories of all you lovely people who popped in to say hello and see how things were progressing.

Safety and PPE
Correct and suitable personal protective equipment should be worn by anyone using the dock — eye protection, gloves, dust masks and respirators as appropriate. We do not provide PPE for visitors; users are responsible for providing and using their own.
The wet dock is operated by Stafford BC Trading Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stafford Boat Club Limited.
